Book recommendations?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to spend less time on social media and less time watching TV so I've been reading a lot more. Does anyone have any recommendations for good books or authors?

I tend to like reading fantasy, science fiction, crime, mystery & thrillers.

@HGOWDY

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind

The Death Gate Cycle series by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman

The Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony

The Stainless Steel Rat series by Harry Harrison

The Chronicles of Amber series by Roger Zelazny

Enders Game and Enders Shadow by Orson Scott Card

The Noble Dead Saga by Barb and J.C. Hendee

Thats a few of the ones I've read multiple times. These are all multiple books. You can also read the rest of the Enders Game series. The Enders Shadow book is a parallel book to Enders Game. Tells the story from a different POV and to be completely honest is almost better than the main characters view. All of these are good reads in my humble opinion and I can list more if you like!

I wish I had some suggestions, but I read non-fiction.

So what’s the last good book that you read? Any genre.Any genre.

If you like the Netflix show YOU there are 2 books by Caroline Kepnes. The first book is YOU and the second book is Hidden Bodies. I listened to Demi Moore's audio book Inside Out and it was good. I'm not sure what kind of books you're into...

Yes I have watched YOU on Netflix and I was hooked! Are the books the same story as the show or a different storyline?

I'm pretty sure they're the same. I started the first one (audio book) but didn't get far...I'm pretty sure it was just like the show. It's been awhile since I watched season 1 so I'm not sure if it is exactly the same.

I know most will find this stuff boring, but I just finished "Never Split The Difference" by Chris Voss and "Louder Than Words" by Joe Navarro. Currently reading "Top 10 Ways To Avoid Taxes" by Mark Quann.
