Hope she is found safe, but can't be good with the last text saying she was in trouble.

The police won’t release the surveillance footage of the two men and this woman leaving the bar. That is strange to me so I’m wondering if they already have a person or persons of interest that they don’t want tipped off that the cops are coming for them. Also, with the text that was sent, how come her friend didn’t say where are you or what do you mean? Biggest question I have is what In the heck is she doing leaving with two men and why did her friends leave her alone?! I hope for her and her family’s sake she comes home soon.

Yeah, that makes no sense! I'm gonna see if I can find anything else about it.

Yeah and her body was wrapped in unidentifiable fabric...behind an abandoned house, shallow grave. How is this not a homicide?? And she even texted her friends saying she was in trouble

Maybe... I just feel like it should be considered a homicide no matter what considering she was wrapped up and buried?! I guess they could rule it homicide at some point. So hopefully you're right @BigC maybe they don't want to share that and scare the person/people

A search is underway for a Trussville woman who disappeared after leaving a bar in Birmingham’s Lakeview District.

Paighton Laine Houston, 29, was last seen Friday night at Tin Roof in the 2700 block of Seventh Avenue South. According to Birmingham police, she left the bar about 10:45 p.m. with two heavy-set black males. Sgt. Johnny Williams said it was reported that Houston left the location willingly with the two men.

Friends on Facebook said that she didn’t know the men and that the last text message from her to a friend stated she didn’t know where she was and she felt she might be in trouble. Family said she has not used her bank account since she disappeared and said her phone is going straight to voicemail.

Can it only be confirmed after proof from a post-mortem? Even though everything points to it

I don't know  😞 it just said it hadn't been ruled homicide. It didn't say they ruled it out?!

Of course that may not be true, but WHOA

How many times does that happen where the perpetrator is known to the person? Quite a few.

Wtf these uncover cops aren’t doing a very good job I mean 2 big black dudes walk out with a 5’2 120 lbs girl that didn’t come to the bar together just leave. I would of at least followed them out the door and just to keep an eye on them. I used to be a bouncer in the city on the weekends and I always kept an eye open for strange things . Sorry I’m just pissed at how unaware people are of what’s going down around them. I’m always scanning my surroundings no matter where I’m at.

Unfortunately a lot of people can’t see beyond their own bubble and I suppose that’s human nature.

This is a case that remains cold, with no new information being shared with the public since 2018 - This is the Disappearance of Corrie McKeague

Sadly, Corrie went missing not far from me in England - So I thought I would share...
      The Case
Corrie McKeague (born 16 September 1993) went missing in the early hours of 24 September 2016 in the Bury St Edmunds area of Suffolk, England. Before disappearing, he worked as a Royal Air Force Regiment gunner.
McKeague was last seen, on town centre CCTV footage, entering a cul-de-sac which contained a number of wheelie bins. His mobile phone was tracked via GPS from phone masts along a route between Bury St Edmunds and a landfill site near Barton Mills. Suffolk Constabulary were initially reluctant to search the site for McKeague's remains because a bin lorry that had travelled that route at that time had been estimated to have been carrying a load of only 15 kilograms (33 lb). In March 2017, however, the police discovered that the lorry had a significantly larger weight; more than 100 kilograms (220 lb).
Whilst McKeague's disappearance remains under investigation and the case continues to attract widespread publicity, the belief by authorities, but not the family, is that McKeague was crushed to death by the bin lorry and his remains are at the Barton Mills landfill.
Suffolk Constabulary have spent more than £2.1 million investigating McKeague's disappearance, making it one of the most expensive missing persons investigations that the force has conducted and in the words of Suffolk police, brought unique pressures on the force. The search for McKeague was stood down in March 2018.
Information above is an excerpt from Wikipedia - further information can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Corrie_McKeague

Zachary Waldron was last seen Monday morning, September 30, 2019 in Palm Springs, Ca.  He was trying to complete the C2C2C hike.  Palm Springs PD has surveillance of him come down the mountain and be put into a car.

They have been  able to follow a trail that has him from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) to Paris, France but that is where the trail dies.  This is his last known whereabouts.

Palm Springs PD, Deputies, Detectives and the Marine Corps are working diligently to help in the manner.

      - This case has me scratching my head.  For one, the wife was a friend of mine back in highschool.  She started dating Zach awhile ago and eventually got married.  They have a daughter together.  Now, what i do not get, is if they have footage of him being put into a car, then i would assume that same footage would have given them more clues.  But then again, i would have to see this video they have.  Another thing, France has a lot of cameras, EVERYWHERE.  There is no video of him leaving the airport? no video anywhere in france of him?  I would assume French Authorities are probably not working as hard to find him but then again that is all speculation.

Another thing that has me looking at my friend is that fact that she has moved on like her husband is not missing at all.  Kinda fishy but then again people do mourn their own way.  But, looking at her social media, she only posted about his disappearance about two times and that was it.  No more info, nothing.  He wasn't found and i don't want to directly ask her about it either.  I do not want to believe she is involved but there are to many cases that makes me believe she knows something.  I would assume a person who's significant other is missing would be posting about them everyday.

This case is a head scratcher for sure.  What do you all think could of happened here?
