Zachary Waldron - Missing since 9/30/2019 - Palm Springs, CA

Recommended Posts

Zachary Waldron was last seen Monday morning, September 30, 2019 in Palm Springs, Ca.  He was trying to complete the C2C2C hike.  Palm Springs PD has surveillance of him come down the mountain and be put into a car.

They have been  able to follow a trail that has him from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) to Paris, France but that is where the trail dies.  This is his last known whereabouts.

Palm Springs PD, Deputies, Detectives and the Marine Corps are working diligently to help in the manner.

- This case has me scratching my head.  For one, the wife was a friend of mine back in highschool.  She started dating Zach awhile ago and eventually got married.  They have a daughter together.  Now, what i do not get, is if they have footage of him being put into a car, then i would assume that same footage would have given them more clues.  But then again, i would have to see this video they have.  Another thing, France has a lot of cameras, EVERYWHERE.  There is no video of him leaving the airport? no video anywhere in france of him?  I would assume French Authorities are probably not working as hard to find him but then again that is all speculation.

Another thing that has me looking at my friend is that fact that she has moved on like her husband is not missing at all.  Kinda fishy but then again people do mourn their own way.  But, looking at her social media, she only posted about his disappearance about two times and that was it.  No more info, nothing.  He wasn't found and i don't want to directly ask her about it either.  I do not want to believe she is involved but there are to many cases that makes me believe she knows something.  I would assume a person who's significant other is missing would be posting about them everyday.

This case is a head scratcher for sure.  What do you all think could of happened here?

Just for my info, is this the same person?

$1,405 raised of $10,000 goal

Rosa Rodriguez is organizing this fundraiser.
To our squad family and friends:
As many of you may have seen us share in the weeks prior, our dear friend Janet has lost all contact with husband, Zachary Waldron.
He was last seen Monday morning, September 30, 2019, in Palm Springs, CA., attempting to complete the C2C2C hike alone.

All Authorities are working Diligently to help bring Zach back home.
Because Zach is an active duty US Marine, and due to him still missing, his wife Janet and one year old daughter had to leave their San Diego home and now have limited income coming in as Zach’s benefits have been terminated.

Bills have been piling up for Janet and Sofia and with the holidays quickly approaching, we want to help out as much as we can. We love the Waldron Family dearly and would truly appreciate donations in any amount to help them out during this tough time.

Stay strong, stay resilient.

We thank you in advance.

@EWU Bob I don’t believe so.  I can’t find any footage anywhere.  I do know that the wife and daughter did fly out to Vegas to spend some time with the husbands family this weekend.  Per her social media accounts.

This is a case that remains cold, with no new information being shared with the public since 2018 - This is the Disappearance of Corrie McKeague

Sadly, Corrie went missing not far from me in England - So I thought I would share...
      The Case
Corrie McKeague (born 16 September 1993) went missing in the early hours of 24 September 2016 in the Bury St Edmunds area of Suffolk, England. Before disappearing, he worked as a Royal Air Force Regiment gunner.
McKeague was last seen, on town centre CCTV footage, entering a cul-de-sac which contained a number of wheelie bins. His mobile phone was tracked via GPS from phone masts along a route between Bury St Edmunds and a landfill site near Barton Mills. Suffolk Constabulary were initially reluctant to search the site for McKeague's remains because a bin lorry that had travelled that route at that time had been estimated to have been carrying a load of only 15 kilograms (33 lb). In March 2017, however, the police discovered that the lorry had a significantly larger weight; more than 100 kilograms (220 lb).
Whilst McKeague's disappearance remains under investigation and the case continues to attract widespread publicity, the belief by authorities, but not the family, is that McKeague was crushed to death by the bin lorry and his remains are at the Barton Mills landfill.
Suffolk Constabulary have spent more than £2.1 million investigating McKeague's disappearance, making it one of the most expensive missing persons investigations that the force has conducted and in the words of Suffolk police, brought unique pressures on the force. The search for McKeague was stood down in March 2018.
Information above is an excerpt from Wikipedia - further information can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Corrie_McKeague

US Airforce Attempts to Intercept UFO -Ends Tragically
      Written by Joseph Arctic Thunder
The fiirst reported tragedy during a UFO pursuit by air-force occurred on January 7, 1948 over Godman Air Force Base, Ft. Knox, Kentucky. An unidentified object that looked like "an ice cream cone topped with red" was sighted over air base, by several military and civilian observers.  The Godman tower dispatched four National Guard F-51's  to investigate the sighting.

Similar shape UFO like the one observed over Air Force Base
Three of the planes were approaching the object, and reported it to be metalic and of "tremendous size."  Another pilot described it as "round like a tear drop, and at times almost fluid."
The flight leader, Capt. Thomas F. Mantell, contacted the Godman tower with and stated that the object was travelling at half his speed at 12 o'clock high.
"I'm closing in now to take a good look," he radioed.  "It's directly ahead of me and still moving at about half my speed...the thing looks metallic and of tremendous size."
"It's going up now and forward as fast as I am...that's 360 MPH," Captain Mantell reported from his F-51. "I'm going up to 20,000 feet and if I'm no closer, I'll abandon chase."
This was the last radio contact made by Captain Mantell to the Godman tower (at 1515 hours).
Later that day his body was recovered in the wreckage of his plane near Ft. Knox.
One US interceptor resumed the search -- covering territory 100 miles to the south as high as 33,000 feet -- but found nothing.
Medical investigation revealed that Mantell had probably blacked out at 20,000 feet from lack of oxygen and had died of suffocation before the crash.
At first the mysterious object was first ridiculously identified as the planet Venus. However, further analysis of this hypothesis proved that the object was not Venus. Reallly? Trained pilots chasing after a planet. Did officials really pursued this as a viable explanation? Especially when you include observations made by other witnesses.
On the same day, about two hours later, more observation made by others over Lockbourne Air Force Base, Columbus, Ohio.   It was described as "round or oval, larger than a C-47, and travelling in level flight faster than 500 MPH."   The object was followed from the Lockbourne observation tower for more than 20 minutes.   Observers said it glowed from white to amber, leaving an amber exhaust trail five times its own length. At times the object appeared to touch the ground.  No sound was heard.   Finally, the object faded and lowered toward the horizon.

This 'upside down icecream cone' shape UFO has been seen since the late 1940's. The above black and white photo of a UFO was taken in 1972 in the village of Maniwaki Quebec just North East of Ottawa. This object was also seen in Florida and appears to be similar in shape to the one highlighted in the feature story.
